Learn directly from the innovators who have adopted solar technology. How it works, what it costs, and why its time has come. Owners, designers, and/or contractors will be available at most sites to answer questions and discuss design, construction and technology. The tour sites showcase energy efficiency, active and passive solar technologies, and a wide variety of sustainable living solutions.

The Monterey Tour includes a Sustainability Fair featuring hybrid cars, organic food & wines, green building materials, landscaping alternatives and various resource agencies and public utilities concerned with conservation and efficient use of resources. There will be morning and afternoon seminars on various topics, including solar energy, and healthy spaces and living (indoor and out).
