Carmel River Stealhead Rescue

Rescuing steelhead is not only a necessary action to take due to overpumping and drying up of the Carmel River and its tributaries, but it also is an excellent way to experience the wildlife that share their home with us. Shortly after this picture was taken, a mountain lion jumped down from a boulder just ten feet from us!
